No money, no planes, pictures from the summer instead.

"This is your captain speaking...", God, am I missing this words or what?
I need to travel, some how, but money is a problem, because is non existent, so I guess the cheapest way to travel is through memory lane.
This summer just gone, the summer of 2011, I went to Bristol during the lovely “Harbour festival”. I love it there, I actually love Bristol, it have everything I need in the UK, and it have a massive Spanish community, so I kind of forget that it sucks to be Spanish living in the UK, and I find people with who I can actually talk about things that no other people here knows about or can make sense out off.
Anyway, during the little time I expend in Bristol that day, I managed to take some pictures with my Minolta Dynax, and I happened to have loaded Kodak B&W film in it, but for some reason I forgot to develop that film till recently and this below is what I got out of it, well, the best shots any way.

Stuff

Here, this time in the morning, I should be in bed, but no, I must do some crap before I decide that enough is enough. But right now, drinking some nice beer, and listening to Cirez D going to bed don’t sound too interesting.
I recently got an electric guitar, nothing much, but it sounds ok, specially when I plug it to my Marshall amp, it sounds great then. I’m very rusty, because I haven’t played the electric guitar for many years now, and I feel clumsy, but slowly my hands and my head start to get together, and is fun, even if is just for my self.
I been uploading a lot of pictures on DeviantArt, and there is a lot of talent there, so I feel like a kid in the dark ages trying to go to war along with the mean knights during the crusades.
Here is some of the stuff I been putting on there.

Photoshop.

I been having a need to create some stuff, not really sure what, and not really sure how, but I been starving for some decent art for a while now. I know that I’m far from perfect when it comes to art creation, but I’m very happy with some of the stuff I have made recently. In the past month or two I been back to Photoshop, and I been experimenting with some of Photoshop features. I have never been able to learn from somebody else, so what I learn, I basically made it up along the way, and that’s why a lot of my work is so different from each other.
Here I’m adding some of this works, and I know that some of them are too “In your face”, with all them bright colours and details that over saturate the image, but I’m sure somewhere, someone, may find it interesting.
By the way, you may want to put some eye protection for this viewing.

More B&W

Christmas just gone  I went back to Spain to see my family and have a brake from my monotonous life here in Wales. I had my beloved Minolta X-700 with me and lots of film, so I had great fun and lots of things to immortalize.
Here is some of my favourite shots from the black and white films.
I been using  Kodak BW400cn, it is an ISO 400, so is quite flexible and it can be used for many things. I particularly like how it work on low light situations, and on portrait specially. I had the pleasure to have my daughter Aida posing for me in a few occasions, so I finally got the chance to experiment with portrait, and I must say that the results are better than I anticipated. I only wish that Alexandra, my other daughter, was just as keen.
